I constantly get this error, no matter what I’m doing… I have an ILI9488 with 4-wire SPI and a GT911 capacitive Touch driver on an ESP32 (2MB, no PSRAM, arduino core).

even if I change LV_MEM_SIZE to something small like 1 or 10, I get the error, that " region `dram0_0_seg’ overflowed by 22272 bytes".

What am I doing wrong?

There is not enough RAM. Probably there is something in your app which requires a lot of RAM.

Can you diff/compare the code you cribbed with your current code? That would be most helpful :slight_smile:

I had the same problem
the issue was with this line
static lv_color_t buf[ screenWidth * screenHeight * 10 ];
I had to change it to
static lv_color_t buf[ screenWidth * screenHeight / 10 ];
then everything compiled correctly

that error is caused by there not being enough RAM to fit whatever it is you are running

it’s a bit tricky error, it is not always because of GUI contents not fitting the RAM. as I mentioned above it happened to me also when I wrote this static lv_color_t buf[ screenWidth * screenHeight * 10 ]; instead of static lv_color_t buf[ screenWidth * screenHeight / 10 ];

It is a tricky problem but it is because the ram is full no matter what the cause is. The fun part is finding the cause.
