Translate the documentation

I’ve added you!

Thanks.
I don’t know Zanata. Is it to you to create the french language?

Sorry, I forget to enable the French language. It should be there now.

How to translate the word screen in LVGL, viewport?

It sounds like here

When you have created a physical screen …

a little weird

I’ve used the word “display” for the physical hardware and “screen” for the object in LittlevGL.

How would you translate “screens of a user interface”? I think the same word can be used here too.

Viewport would be acceptable IMO (that is the term web developers use for the whole page, including what’s scrolled offscreen).

Due to it is everywhere now, I will not change its meaning to viewport, I just translate it directly and give a remark (Screen)

@Patrick You made great progress with the French translation. Do you agree with adding it to docs?
The updates will be added continuously too.

Hi @kisvegabor, while trying to update some translation for Spanish I found a lot of English files with no content, is this expected?

Which files?

Hi,

I think it was an issue of my personal computer, it’s pretty old and it was taking a lot longer to load the contents of the files. I’m testing with my work pc and it doesn’t have this problem, sorry for the false alarm
