Problem with a CrowPanel 7 Inch (No Correct White)

Hello,

I buyed a Crowpanel 5 inch and CrowPanel 7 inch, with a ESP32 (SKU: DIS08070H) this Panel comes with a example code. (The 5 inch and 7 inch, has the same display resolution)

The same example code runs on the 5 inch Display and shows a correct white screen on the display.
But on the 7-Inch display, there is not a full white screen, the white is a “light blue”.
Elecrow replaces the display, but i have with the new 7 inch display the same problem…

Is there a problem with the RGB565 ? or what could be it for a problem?

Hello,

Instead of just a white screen, could you use a couple more colors? Full red, green and blue an one full white bar all on the same screen?
Send a picture of this when you’ve tried it on both displays, especially the one you think is faulty
