New theme based on old 7.x dark

Hi,

Would it be possible for you to add a new theme based on the old dark theme from 7.x?

The current dark theme is just too dark for me to use on my Pi + 7 inch tft.

All items (IE tabs, tables and dropdowns just seem to bleed into one…).

The old dark theme used to allow you to see where one object finished and another started.

Is there any way for you to adjust the screen contrast? I was originally the one who pushed for the darker dark theme in v8, as the v7 theme was still very bright on my STM32F746’s TFT display. It seems like the perceived brightness/contrast is hardware-dependent. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m using Raspberry PI Zero’s and 7 and 10 inch displays. Ive had a quick look around on google and cant find anything that would work without using a keyboard/GUI.

Do you have any ideas how this could be accomplished using SSH only as this is using frame buffer?
