I start to use the edgeline ; my intention is to use with a 5 " display 800X480 ; but I got message that resolution is not valid .
Can some one help me to increase the maximum resolution to reach 800x480 ¿¿

Right now the maximum resolution is capped at 480x320 (source); there is no way to get around this that I know of.
We had some issues with larger resolutions and we limited the resolution until we fix them. The limitation will be removed in the next version (v0.3).
