I had been able to bootup mainline kernel 5.10 and uboot 2026 on allwinner a20.
Now I wonder how can I compile an app to run over this chip.

Hi
How did you generate the rootfs for the system?
Well, mostly I got help from LLMs to find an approach to build that. Which part is important to you? They told me to first use dd function tocwrite uboot to sd card, then the debootstrap, then install any library needed.
Usually you would need to setup a cross toolchain environment, the most important thing is to make sure libc version matches the one on the target
Since you’re using debian you can, to get started simply install a compiler on the target and compile your application there. After that if you want to compile it on your machine, you can use docker to compile your application by specifying arm64 as the target architecture or you can use something like buildroot to create an sdk from scratch
