LVGL and ESP-IDF v5

I have tried to get the current status of LVGL and ESP-IDF v5 compatibility. The latest I have seen is dated December 2022.

Is the lvgl-master compatible with ESP-IDF v5 i.e. can it be used as a component and will compile and build?

When will LVGL version 9 be available?

Is there a description of how to make LVGL latest version work with ESP-IDF v5?

Espressif has this open PR which tells that an LVGL component can be used.

In LVGL master we are developing v9, so it’s not released yet. E.g. Kconfig is not updated yet so I don’t recommend using it with ESP now.

I hope v9 can released this summer or autumn.
