Lv_ta_set_text_align(text, LV_LABEL_ALIGN_RIGHT) move cursor to left (V. 6.02)

Hi,
With alignment to the right … how do I move the cursor to the left when I write?

Thanks
Walter

I don’t quite understand your question. A screenshot of the issue would be helpful. :slightly_smiling_face:

From what you’ve said it sounds like all you need are the arrow keys on your keyboard. So I’m probably missing something.

Hi,
I attach the picture.
cursor

When I write the cursor remains on the right.
I would like it to move to the left automatically when writing

Thanks
Walter

The default behavior matches that of my word processor (LTR configuration), so I don’t think it needs to be changed.

You should be able to manually move the cursor whenever a character is added to the text area; you’ll probably need to register an event handler to do that.

I also don’t really understand. Text editors also work like this.

Here a test from Libre office Writer:

Hi,
I need for a specific function to have the cursor to the left. I solved by moving the cursor “manually”.
Thanks
Walter
