Button event dose not work

Hi,
my_input_read() function is called once not periodically.
so button event does not work.
How can I fix it?

normal : lv_task_exec() -> indev_proc_task()
abnormal: lv_task_exec() -> lv_refr_areas()
%EC%A3%BC%EC%84%9D%202019-10-01%20200032

Button example

lv_obj_t * btn = lv_btn_create(lv_scr_act(), NULL);     /*Add a button the current screen*/
lv_obj_set_pos(btn, 10, 10);                            /*Set its position*/
lv_obj_set_size(btn, 100, 50);                          /*Set its size*/
lv_obj_set_event_cb(btn, btn_event_cb);                 /*Assign a callback to the button*/

lv_obj_t * label = lv_label_create(btn, NULL);          /*Add a label to the button*/
lv_label_set_text(label, "Button");                     /*Set the labels text*/

indev_proc_task should be called every 30-50 ms (depending on the configuration in lv_conf.h). Are you sure that lv_tick_inc and lv_task_handler are both called periodically in different tasks (not the same while(1) loop)?

FreeRTOS 10.0.1
LVGL 6.0

I think the code as shown below is right as you said.
Are there anythings to correct?
And I’d like to know when the lv_refr_areas() is called.

lv_conf.h

/* Input device read period in milliseconds */
#define LV_INDEV_DEF_READ_PERIOD          30

main.c

void vApplicationTickHook(void)
{
  lv_tick_inc(1);
}

Demo.c

void TaskGUI_Demo(void const *argument)
{
  static uint8_t tx_buf[32];
  tx_buf[0] = 0xB0;
  HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c2, 0x90, tx_buf, 1, 100);

  touch_init();

 lv_obj_t * btn = lv_btn_create(lv_scr_act(), NULL);     /*Add a button the current screen*/
 lv_obj_set_pos(btn, 10, 10);                            /*Set its position*/
 lv_obj_set_size(btn, 100, 50);                          /*Set its size*/
 lv_obj_set_event_cb(btn, btn_event_cb);                 /*Assign a callback to the button*/

 lv_obj_t * label = lv_label_create(btn, NULL);          /*Add a label to the button*/
 lv_label_set_text(label, "Button");                     /*Set the labels text*/
 vTaskDelay(100);

 while(1)
 {
   lv_task_handler();
 }
}

void touch_init(void)
{
  lv_indev_drv_t indev_drv;
  lv_indev_drv_init(&indev_drv);
  indev_drv.read_cb = my_input_read;
  indev_drv.type = LV_INDEV_TYPE_POINTER;
  lv_indev_drv_register(&indev_drv);
}

void btn_event_cb(lv_obj_t * btn, lv_event_t event)
{
    if(event == LV_EVENT_CLICKED) {
        printf("Clicked\n");
    }
}

lv_task_handler scans the list of tasks and runs indev_proc_task at the scheduled time. If you step through lv_task_handler, you should be able to figure out why indev_proc_task is never being called.

Just to be sure. Do you call lv_init(), right?

You can enable Logging, probably it will highlight something.

The button event still dose not work properly.
The event action occurs once and then never again.

Log when run program

Log when clicked a button
Two events logged: 0 - LV_EVENT_PRESSED, 1 - LV_EVENT_PRESSING

void btn_event_cb(lv_obj_t * btn, lv_event_t event)
{
  static uint32_t i = 0;
  printf("event%d: %d\n", i++, event);

  if(event == LV_EVENT_CLICKED) {
        printf("Clicked\n");
    }
}

Does the program hang on lv_refr_task started or it’s just the end of the log?

Program hang on lv_refr_task started and the end of the log.

while loop executes infinitely. (vdb->flushing is 1)

static void lv_refr_area_part(const lv_area_t * area_p)
{
    lv_disp_buf_t * vdb = lv_disp_get_buf(disp_refr);

    /*In non double buffered mode, before rendering the next part wait until the previous image is
     * flushed*/
    if(lv_disp_is_double_buf(disp_refr) == false) {
        while(vdb->flushing)
            ;
    }
 ...
}

You need to call lv_disp_flush_ready in your disp_flush function.

I added the lv_disp_flush_ready(disp_drv); to call at the end of the line of the tft_flush().
Thanks, it works!
Each time the button is clicked, the event occurs repeatedly.
