Animation not working on ESP32 S3 (Lilygo TS3) through Arduino IDE

Description

Im trying now since a while to get a simple animation running, most basic widgets, grids, layout, styles etc seem to work well and Im slowly getting the hang of it. Unfortuantely im stuck at creating a simple animation.
Im using the sample file from the T-Display-S3-main package as a template
(T-Display-S3-main\T-Display-S3-main\examples\lv_demos)

MCU / Compiler

ESP32 S3 “Lilygo T-Display-S3” but without Touch
Arduino IDE 2.3.2
And since Lilygo is a bit tricky, im using this package: (or, need to use this package)

Which contains lvgl 8.3

What do you want to achieve?

Get a simple animation running (Bar, etc,…)
Currently, it shows the bar, but no animation.

I couldnt find a corresponding setting in lv_conf.h that might have disabled it.

Code to reproduce

The code block(s) should be between ```c and ``` tags:
