Sorry to be so late to the party regarding the stepper analyzer, but I just learned about it. It’s a perfect device for something I want to do with my 3D printer - I want to try motion analysis with an accelerometer attached to the print head. Also, I really, REALLY like your idea of using the Teensy 4. Yes, it is a beast, and it’s my go-to board for projects. I hope you continue along that vein.
My reason for writing is to ask if you know of anybody who’s selling a kit of parts and the PCB for the analyzer? I saw one person on the Duet3D forum who would buy and make available PCBs here in Europe, but I can’t login to the forum to make a reply. Is the forum down?
Anyway, I’d like to purchase a kit of parts if possible. I have no problem assembling the analyzer, but procuring one-offs of everything is a headache, but definitely not insurmountable if I have to. I do believe it would be worth it, just not my first choice.
